Flizasertib

RIP1 Inhibitor

Flizasertib is a selective, reversible inhibitor of receptor-interacting protein kinase 1 (RIP1), demonstrating Kiapp values of 0.00071 μM in human and 0.0013 μM in cynomolgus monkey RIP1. This compound effectively blocks RIP1 autophosphorylation while maintaining RIP1 protein stability. Flizasertib downregulates the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, including CCL3, CCL4, and IL-1β, making it valuable for research into inflammatory conditions. Additionally, it shows potential in studies related to colitis, ileitis, and cardiac surgery-associated acute kidney injury.
