TFCP2 Allosteric Inhibitor
FQI2-34 is an allosteric inhibitor targeting TFCP2 (also known as LSF), exhibiting an affinity for the LSF protein with a Ki of 63 nM. This compound effectively inhibits LSF oligomerization and disrupts its transcriptional activity, with an IC₅₀ of 48 nM, while also interfering with SF-DNA interactions. FQI2-34 demonstrates significant anti-proliferative effects against Huh7 liver cancer cells and induces tumor regression in mouse models, making it a valuable tool for research in liver cancer therapeutics.
