FSBA hydrochloride

Protein Labeling

FSBA hydrochloride is a potent reagent for the affinity labeling of proteins that bind adenine nucleotides. It is primarily utilized in research to investigate the interactions and functions of these proteins. The labeling process can be inhibited by the addition of excess MgATP, which competes with FSBA for nucleotide-binding sites, thereby providing a controlled approach to study protein dynamics and binding properties.
