Fucosyltransferase 6

Fucosyltransferase 6

Fucosyltransferase 6 is an enzyme that catalyzes the addition of fucose residues, facilitating the synthesis of the tetrasaccharide Sialyl-Lewis x (sLex, CD15s) on leukocyte surfaces. sLex is crucial for E-selectin-mediated leukocyte rolling, playing a significant role in the migration of leukocytes out of blood vessels during immune responses. This reagent is valuable for research applications involving cell adhesion, inflammation, and immune cell trafficking.
