Fumarranol
MetAP2 Inhibitor
Fumarranol is a selective inhibitor of type 2 methionine aminopeptidase (MetAP2), demonstrating a human IC50 of 3.2 μM. This compound effectively inhibits the proliferation of bovine aortic endothelial cells and shows activity against angiogenesis in a mouse matrigel plug model. Fumarranol is applicable in research focused on cancer, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration.
