γ-Glutamylvaline

CaSR activator

γ-Glutamylvaline (γ-Glu-Val) is a potent activator of the calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR) with demonstrated anti-inflammatory properties. This compound effectively inhibits tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α)-induced production of proinflammatory cytokines and enhances the expression of Wnt5a. Research applications for γ-Glutamylvaline include investigations into calcium-sensing receptor pathways in adipocytes, particularly in 3T3-L1 mouse models, where it has been shown to mitigate low-grade chronic inflammation.
