GAT100

Cannabinoid 1 Receptor Negative Allosteric Modulator

GAT100 is a negative allosteric modulator targeting the cannabinoid 1 receptor (CB1R). It functions by reducing the potency and efficacy of orthosteric CB1R agonists such as CP55,940, influencing key signaling pathways including β-arrestin 1 recruitment and ERK1/2 phosphorylation. GAT100 is a valuable tool for investigating the role of CB1R in psychobehavioral and somatic disorders, facilitating research on therapeutic strategies for conditions influenced by cannabinoid signaling.
