GCN2 activator-1
GCN2 Activator
GCN2 activator-1 is a selective GCN2 activator that binds to the ATP-binding pocket of the GCN2 protein, functioning independently of GCN1. This compound induces the Integrated Stress Response (ISR) within cells, making it instrumental in studying cellular stress pathways. Additionally, GCN2 activator-1 exhibits inhibitory activity against PKR with an IC50 of 3.75 µM and is valuable for research into pulmonary veno-occlusive disease (PVOD).
