GGTI-2154 hydrochloride
GGTase I Inhibitor
GGTI-2154 hydrochloride is a potent and selective inhibitor of geranylgeranyltransferase I (GGTase I), exhibiting an IC50 of 21 nM. It demonstrates over 200-fold selectivity for GGTase I compared to farnesyltransferase (FTase), which has an IC50 of 5600 nM. This compound is utilized in cancer research to explore the role of GGTase I in tumorigenesis and related signaling pathways.
