Gibberellic acid

Growth Regulator

Gibberellic acid (GA3) is a natural plant growth regulator that primarily enhances plant developmental processes. It plays a crucial role in seed germination, cell elongation, floral organ formation, and fertility in rice spikelets. Additionally, gibberellic acid optimizes root morphology, promotes secondary metabolite production in Echinacea purpurea, and serves as a bioactive seed priming agent to mitigate chilling stress in chickpeas. Its modulating effects on enzyme activity and antioxidant systems render it valuable for research in plant growth, metabolism, and responses to abiotic stress.
