GIT1-IN-1

GIT1 Inhibitor

GIT1-IN-1 is a selective inhibitor of ARF GTPase-activating protein 1 (GIT1), with a KD of 6.2 μM. This compound demonstrates significant biological activity by inducing apoptosis in liver and colon cancer cells, while also arresting the cell cycle at the G2/M phase and inhibiting cell proliferation, colony formation, and migration. Additionally, GIT1-IN-1 inhibits MEK and ERK activities, decreases cyclin D1 expression, and stabilizes cyclin B1 protein levels, making it a valuable tool for research applications in liver and colon cancer.
