Gliadins

Gliadins

Gliadins are a family of monomeric proteins rich in glutamine and proline, primarily recognized for their role in autoimmune diseases, particularly celiac disease. These proteins are key immunogenic components of gluten, eliciting adverse immune responses in genetically susceptible individuals. Gliadins are widely utilized in research to study gluten-related disorders and the mechanisms of immune dysregulation associated with gluten sensitivity.
