Glucoarabin

Bioactive Glucosinolate

Glucoarabin is a bioactive glucosinolate that primarily targets phase II detoxification enzymes. In Hepa1c1c7 cells, hydrolyzed Glucoarabin (hGSL 9) significantly upregulates the enzyme quinone reductase (NQO1) while exhibiting no impact on cytochrome P450 (CYP) 1A1 activity. This compound is valuable for research applications focused on detoxification mechanisms and the regulation of enzymatic pathways involved in cellular defense processes.
