Gluconasturtiin potassium
Stimulant for Ingestion
Gluconasturtiin potassium is a feeding stimulant for the larvae of Phlebotomus maculipennis, enhancing their ingestion behavior. While it promotes feeding activity at lower concentrations, elevated levels can exhibit toxicity towards the larvae. This compound is useful in studies of larval development and the physiological responses of insects to dietary stimulants.
