LXRα/β Agonist
GSK3987 is a dual agonist for Liver X Receptors α and β (LXRα/β), exhibiting effective binding with EC50 values of 50 nM for LXRα-SRC1 and 40 nM for LXRβ-SRC1. This compound enhances the expression of key regulatory proteins such as ABCA1 and SREBP-1c, leading to increased cellular cholesterol efflux and triglyceride accumulation. GSK3987 is valuable for researching lipid metabolism, atherosclerosis, and related metabolic disorders.
