CAGE Inhibitor

GTGKT is an inhibitor of the CAGE protein, effectively blocking its interaction with GSK3β. By disrupting CAGE's binding to the promoter region of Cyclin D1, GTGKT alters its localization and subsequently reduces Cyclin D1 expression. This compound enhances the apoptotic effects of various anticancer agents and decreases the tumorigenic potential of melanoma and hepatocellular carcinoma cells, making it a valuable tool for cancer research.
