H3R antagonist 8

H3R Antagonist

H3R antagonist 8 is a selective non-imidazole antagonist of the histamine H3 receptor, with an IC50 of 0.35 μM. This compound demonstrates significant hERG channel blockade activity (IC50 = 0.67 μM) and exhibits antiepileptic properties, effectively reducing tonic hind limb extension in the maximal electroshock seizure model in mice (ED50 = 20.21 mg/kg). Additionally, H3R antagonist 8 shortens the total movement distance in pentylenetetrazol-induced zebrafish larvae, making it a valuable reagent for epilepsy research.
