hCA Inhibitor
hCAII-IN-2 is a selective inhibitor of cytosolic human carbonic anhydrases (hCAs), exhibiting Ki values of 261.4 nM for hCA I, 3.8 nM for hCA II, 19.6 nM for hCA IX, and 45.2 nM for hCA XII. This compound demonstrates potent inhibition, particularly against hCA II, and is instrumental in studies exploring carbonic anhydrase's role in various physiological and pathological processes.
