HCAR2 agonist 1

HCAR2 Agonist

HCAR2 Agonist 1 is an allosteric modulator that selectively activates the Gi protein signaling pathway via the HCAR2 receptor. This compound exhibits significant anti-inflammatory activity, demonstrated by its ability to decrease mRNA levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines, including TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6, and MCP-1. HCAR2 Agonist 1 has been shown to enhance the anti-inflammatory effects of orthosteric agonists in animal models of colitis, making it a valuable tool for research focused on inflammation and related disorders.
