HNMPA-(AM)3

Insulin Receptor Inhibitor

HNMPA-(AM)3 is a selective inhibitor of the insulin receptor tyrosine kinase, designed to permeate cell membranes. It effectively inhibits prothoracicotropic hormone (PTTH) activation of ERK phosphorylation and subsequent ecdysteroidogenesis. This compound demonstrates significant inhibition of ecdysteroid production (IC50 = 14.2 μM) and insulin receptor activity, with an IC50 of 14.2 μM in mosquitoes and 200 μM in mammals, making it a valuable tool for research in endocrinology and metabolic signaling pathways.
