HNMPA
Insulin Receptor Inhibitor
HNMPA is a membrane-impermeable inhibitor of the insulin receptor tyrosine kinase. It effectively inhibits serine and tyrosine autophosphorylation of the human insulin receptor, thereby disrupting insulin signaling pathways. HNMPA does not influence protein kinase C or cyclic AMP-dependent protein kinase activities, making it a valuable tool for studying insulin receptor function and related signaling mechanisms in cellular research.
