HOOC-PEG-COOH (MW 2000) is a polyethylene glycol (PEG) crosslinker featuring two terminal carboxyl groups capable of selectively reacting with amine groups in peptide coupling reactions. This reagent effectively facilitates PEGylation, enhancing the solubility and stability of proteins and peptides, as well as enabling surface modification of nanoparticles. Its applications extend to the development of targeted drug delivery systems and the creation of bioconjugates for research in biochemistry and molecular biology.
