αSyn Inhibitor

HUP-46 is a blood-brain barrier-penetrable inhibitor of α-synuclein (αSyn) dimerization, which enhances autophagy processes. It effectively reduces the phosphorylated protein phosphatase 2A (pPP2A) to total PP2A ratio while increasing levels of the autophagy marker LC3BII. HUP-46 is suitable for investigating mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases, providing insights into potential therapeutic strategies targeting αSyn aggregation.
