TAZ Activator
IBS008738 is a potent TAZ activator that stabilizes TAZ, leading to an increased level of unphosphorylated TAZ. This compound enhances the interaction of MyoD with the myogenin promoter, upregulating MyoD-dependent gene transcription. In C2C12 cells, IBS008738 competes with myostatin, promoting myogenesis and facilitating muscle repair in muscle injury models. Its applications in research include investigations of muscle regeneration and myogenic differentiation.
