Ibuzatrelvir

Virul protease Inhibitor

Ibuzatrelvir is a second-generation, orally bioavailable inhibitor targeting the main protease (Mpro and 3CLpro) of SARS-CoV-2. This compound exhibits significant antiviral activity against a range of human coronaviruses and demonstrates a favorable off-target selectivity in vitro and in preclinical studies. Additionally, Ibuzatrelvir maintains a safety profile comparable to placebo, making it a promising candidate for the inhibition of COVID-19 and prevention of viral transmission in research applications.
