Imidapril hydrochloride

ACE/MMP-9 Inhibitor

Imidapril hydrochloride is an orally active inhibitor of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9). This compound effectively suppresses the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II, leading to reduced total peripheral resistance and lower systemic blood pressure. It is valuable in research applications related to hypertension, type 1 diabetes nephropathy, and chronic heart failure.
