IMPDH-IN-4

Anticancer Compound

IMPDH-IN-4 is an inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH) inhibitor designed for research in anticancer applications. It demonstrates significant activity against peripheral nerve sheath carcinoma cells by increasing the accumulation of inosine monophosphate within these cells. Additionally, this compound can effectively cross the blood-brain barrier, making it suitable for studies focused on both central and peripheral nervous system cancers. Its unique mechanism of action, involving metabolism by NAMPT and NMNAT1 to form an adenine dinucleotide derivative, positions IMPDH-IN-4 as a valuable tool for cancer research.
