IND24
Antiprion Agent
IND24 is a potent antiprion agent that functions by selectively targeting and decreasing the levels of misfolded, pathogenic prion proteins within cells. With an EC50 value of 1.27 µM, IND24 is effective in promoting the reduction of these abnormal protein conformations, which are implicated in prion diseases. This compound is valuable for research focused on understanding prion protein pathogenesis and developing therapeutic strategies against prion diseases.
