iPAF1C
PAF1C Inhibitor
iPAF1C is a selective inhibitor of the polymerase-associated factor 1 complex (PAF1C), specifically targeting the PAF1 binding groove of the CTR9 subunit. By disrupting the PAF1-CTR9 interaction, iPAF1C impairs PAF1C assembly, which inhibits the BRD4-mediated recruitment of PAF1 to chromatin, thus affecting RNA polymerase II pause release at hypoxia-responsive genes. Additionally, iPAF1C enhances the population of HIV-1 NL4.3 Nef-IRES-GFP infected primary human CD4+ T cells in a dose-dependent manner, making it a valuable reagent for research in infection and diseases related to abnormal hypoxic adaptation, such as cancers and neurological disorders.
