Iron(II) succinate

Iron Supplement

Iron(II) succinate, a ferrous salt and organic acid iron supplement, targets iron deficiency with effective oral bioavailability. It has been shown to enhance hematological parameters in models of iron-deficiency anemia, including improvements in hemoglobin, red blood cell count, and serum ferritin levels. Additionally, Iron(II) succinate reduces total iron-binding capacity and ameliorates organ coefficients associated with anemia, making it a valuable reagent for research into iron-deficiency anemia and related hematological disorders.
