Isatoic anhydride
Single-adduct Forming Reagent
Isatoic anhydride is a monofunctional SHAPE reagent that selectively targets the 2'-hydroxyl group of RNA nucleotides, resulting in the formation of a single adduct. Its unique reactivity allows for precise characterization of RNA secondary structure by facilitating the differentiation between single-adduct formation and true cross-links in SHAPE-JuMP experiments.
