iso-ADP ribose

Ligand

Iso-ADP ribose (isoADPr) functions as a ligand for the modification of proteins and nucleic acids. It consists of two consecutive ADP-ribosyl units within the poly(ADP-ribose) (PAR) chain, serving as a critical signaling molecule. Iso-ADP ribose activates the RING finger protein 146 (RNF146) by binding to the basic Lys61 residue within its RING domain, facilitating various biological processes. This compound is essential for studies related to protein regulation and post-translational modifications.
