hNET/hSERT/hDAT Inhibitor
iso-WAY-260022 is a selective inhibitor of the human norepinephrine transporter (hNET), exhibiting an IC50 value of 140 nM. In addition to its primary activity, iso-WAY-260022 also inhibits human serotonin (hSERT) and dopamine transporters (hDAT). This compound enhances norepinephrine reuptake inhibition, leading to increased hypothalamic norepinephrine levels and modulation of thermoregulatory center function. It is of particular interest in research addressing vasomotor symptoms, including menopausal hot flushes and night sweats.
