H4 Receptor Antagonist
JNJ10191584 is a selective antagonist of the histamine H4 receptor, exhibiting a Ki value of 26 nM. This compound demonstrates a substantial 540-fold selectivity for the H4 receptor in comparison to the H3 receptor, which has a Ki value of 14.1 μM. JNJ10191584 effectively inhibits the chemotaxis of eosinophils and mast cells, with IC50 values of 530 nM and 138 nM, respectively. It holds potential for applications in inflammatory and allergic research.
