ΔFOSB Inhibitor

JPC0661 is a direct and allosteric inhibitor of ΔFOSB, targeting its interaction with DNA and transcriptional activity. It effectively inhibits ΔFOSB/JUND binding to DNA with IC50 values ranging from 9 to 52 μM, and directly reduces ΔFOSB-mediated transcription with an IC50 of 0.82 μM in vitro. Additionally, JPC0661 significantly decreases ΔFOSB occupancy at genomic AP1 sites in vivo, binding to a unique groove outside the DNA-binding cleft of ΔFOSB to disrupt complex formation. This compound is applicable in research focused on Alzheimer's disease.
