KCA 098

Benzofuroquinoline Derivative

KCA 098 is an orally active benzofuroquinoline derivative that targets bone resorption and promotes bone formation. It has been shown to effectively inhibit bone resorption while simultaneously stimulating bone formation in chick embryos. In preclinical studies, KCA 098 increases calcium and phosphorus content and enhances the structural integrity of femurs in ovariectomized rat models. This compound is suitable for research into bone diseases and potential therapeutic applications in osteoporosis.
