KIM-161

PIK3CA Inhibitor

KIM-161 is a selective inhibitor of the PIK3CA pathway, demonstrating potent antiproliferative effects with IC50 values of 1.428 µM and 1.562 µM against PI3KCA mutant breast cancer cell lines MCF7 and T47D, respectively. This compound induces apoptosis and cell cycle arrest through the inhibition of the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling cascade while also promoting reactive oxygen species (ROS) production. KIM-161 is a valuable tool for investigating breast cancer, particularly in the context of PIK3CA mutations and their therapeutic implications.
