KRM-III
T-cell Antigen Receptor Inhibitor
KRM-III is a potent and orally bioavailable inhibitor of the T-cell antigen receptor (TCR). It effectively inhibits TCR- and phorbol myristate acetate/ionomycin-induced activation of the nuclear factor of activated T cells (NFAT), resulting in a significant reduction of T-cell proliferation, with an IC50 of approximately 5 μM. This compound exhibits notable anti-inflammatory activity, making it valuable for investigations into T-cell mediated immune responses.
