KS 619-1

Phosphodiesterase Inhibitor

KS 619-1 is a potent inhibitor of Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase. It exhibits significant inhibitory activity against this enzyme sourced from bovine brain and heart, while displaying minimal effects on calmodulin-independent phosphodiesterase and protein kinase C. Additionally, KS 619-1 demonstrates weak antibacterial properties against Staphylococcus aureus, making it relevant for studies on cellular signaling and antibacterial research.
