Kuraridine

Bioactive Flavonol

Kuraridine is a bioactive flavonol derived from the roots of Sophora flavescens, exhibiting selective inhibition of cGMP-specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) with an IC50 of 0.64 μM. This compound demonstrates potential therapeutic applications in the modulation of vascular smooth muscle relaxation and enhancement of nitric oxide signaling. Its unique pharmacological profile makes Kuraridine an interesting candidate for research in cardiovascular and other related biological studies.
