KY386
DHX33 Helicase Inhibitor
KY386 is a potent inhibitor of the DHX33 helicase, exhibiting an IC50 value of 0.019 μM. This compound demonstrates significant biological activity by inhibiting cell viability in various cancer cell lines and inducing ferroptosis and apoptosis in certain contexts. Additionally, KY386 elevates intracellular levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS), lipid peroxides (LPO), and Fe2+, while reducing glutathione (GSH) levels. Its therapeutic potential is illustrated by its ability to suppress the growth of gastric and colon cancer xenografts in nude mice, making it a valuable tool for researching liver, lung, pancreatic, colorectal, and various other cancers, including glioblastoma and melanoma.
