Lactic acid calcium

Glycolysis Production

Lactic acid calcium is an effective activator of hydroxycarboxylic acid receptor 1 (HCAR1) and serves as an epigenetic modulator that induces lactylation of lysine residues. As a key end-product of glycolysis, it connects glycolysis with oxidative phosphorylation and functions as an oncometabolite. Lactic acid calcium also plays a role in supporting anti-tumor immunity and possesses antimicrobial properties, making it applicable in food preservation and various research studies focused on metabolism and immune responses.
