LATS Inhibitor
LATS-IN-2 is a potent inhibitor of large tumor suppressor kinase (LATS), demonstrating exceptional inhibitory activity against LATS1, with an IC50 of 1.3 nM. By inhibiting LATS kinase activity, LATS-IN-2 effectively suppresses phosphorylation of YAP, which plays a critical role in cellular growth and regeneration processes. This compound has been observed to increase epidermal thickness in mouse models, making it a valuable tool for researching ocular diseases such as limbal stem cell deficiency and corneal endothelial dysfunction.
