LPS Antagonist

LBP-14 is a synthetic peptide and a specific antagonist of lipopolysaccharide (LPS). It targets LPS by forming electrostatic and hydrophobic interactions, effectively preventing LPS from binding to LPS binding protein (LBP). This inhibition results in a moderate reduction of LPS-induced TNF-α production. LBP-14 is particularly useful in research focused on gram-negative sepsis and related inflammatory responses.
