LBT-999

Dopamine Transporter

LBT-999 is a phenyltropane derivative that specifically targets the dopamine transporter (DAT). This compound exhibits high-affinity binding to DAT in rat striatal membranes and human postmortem brain slices in vitro. In vivo studies demonstrate significant uptake in the striatum of rat and baboon models, and its binding affinity can be inhibited by selective compounds. LBT-999 is valuable for research applications in neuroimaging, particularly in positron emission tomography (PET) studies of dopaminergic function.
