mHTT-LC3 Linker Compound
LC3-mHTT-IN-AN2 is a mHTT-LC3 linker compound that selectively interacts with mutant huntingtin protein (mHTT) and LC3B, exhibiting no binding affinity for wild-type huntingtin (wtHTT) or unrelated proteins. This compound has demonstrated the ability to reduce mHTT levels in allele-selective fashion within cultured neurons derived from Huntington disease (HD) models. Its targeted action makes it a valuable tool for research into mHTT's role in neurodegenerative processes and the development of potential therapeutic strategies for HD.
