LG308
Anti-cancer Agent
LG308 is a novel synthetic anti-cancer agent that exerts its effects through antimicrotubule activity. It induces mitotic phase arrest and inhibits G2/M progression, which is linked to the upregulation of cyclin B1 and the mitotic marker MPM-2, as well as the dephosphorylation of cdc2. Additionally, LG308 triggers apoptosis and promotes cell death, demonstrating significant suppression of tumor growth. This compound holds potential for advancing research in prostate cancer.
