Licoisoflavone A
Anti-cancer Agent
Licoisoflavone A is an orally bioavailable isoflavone with potent anti-cancer properties. It targets the CDK2-Cyclin E1 axis, effectively inhibiting cell proliferation, inducing apoptosis, and causing G1/S phase arrest in colorectal cancer (CRC) cells. Additionally, Licoisoflavone A demonstrates dose-dependent inhibition of lipid peroxidation and significant efficacy against SARS-CoV-2 infection. Its actions have been validated in vivo, showing substantial anti-tumor effects in mice with CT26 cell subcutaneous xenografts, making it a valuable reagent for research on colorectal cancer and viral infections.
