Lignin alkali

Structural Modifier

Lignin alkali serves as a structural modifier and is primarily targeted for use in biomass refining. Derived from lignocellulosic biomass through alkaline pretreatment, it comprises p-hydroxyphenyl, guaiacyl, and syringyl propanoid units. Its unique composition allows for decomposition and depolymerization, making it suitable for converting into high-value chemicals and materials. Lignin alkali holds substantial potential for applications in sustainable materials development and advanced biomass utilization strategies.
