Linaprazan glurate

Acid-Lowering Agent

Linaprazan glurate is an orally active prodrug of Linaprazan that functions as a potassium-competitive inhibitor of gastric acid secretion. Its primary mechanism involves the selective inhibition of gastric H⁺/K⁺-ATPase, demonstrating a potent inhibitory effect with an IC50 of 436.2 nM. Linaprazan glurate is rapidly converted into its active form, making it effective for studies focused on conditions such as erosive esophagitis (EE) where acid reduction is critical.
